ARTEMISA'S STORY
Oceana Joos founded Artemisa after discovering the remarkable healing properties of Chilcuague root. This discovery deepened her passion for herbalism, inspiring her to explore its essential benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Determined to move away from mass-produced products that often fall short of their promises, Oceana began crafting her own tinctures and daily-use essentials. She soon formalized her role as the herbalist of Artemisa, and what started as a personal journey evolved into a larger vision.
With the support of ICSAW (International Center of Sacred Ancestral Wisdom), Artemisa became a platform for sustaining and honourig Indigenous communities across Central and South America. Through the respectful use of their sacred plants, Artemisa shares their wisdom with the world—guided by love, transparency, and a commitment to ethical practices rather than excessive profit, as seen in many corporations.
